Points of Interest
The Harrison School District serves the municipalities of Harrison, West Harrison, and Purchase. Harrison was founded in 1696. It’s boundaries seemed to lie within brooks, streams and lakes. This 22 square mile area was to be known as “Harrison’s Purchase” and to this day a section of Harrison is Purchase. The area is defined by beautiful residences plus scores of major corporations whose offices are located along Route 287. The State University of New York at Purchase is home to The Neuberger Museum with over 5,000 pieces in its permanent collection.
