The Town of Standford was formed in 1793 from the Town of Washington. Stanford celebrated its bicentennial in 1993 and includes the beautiful foothills of the Fishkill Range. The Chauncey Stillman Estate “Wethersfield” opened its grounds and art collection to the public in the 1990’s. The Stanford area is the perfect destination for anyone looking for serenity.
