Nestled in the foothills of the Taconic Mountains lies the picturesque town of Putnam Valley. Known as the “Town of Lakes.” The largest of these is 430-acre Lake Oscawana which borders Fahnstock Park (600 acres of protected parkland). Housing varies from small summer retreats to ultra-modern dwellings. A few early restored Victorian and Colonial homesteads remain. Putnam Valley is a town rich in history and new in spirit. It has much to offer those who enjoy country life.
