Formed in 1827, the Town of Union Vale includes the hamlet and village of Verbank and North Cove. It’s rich history and pastoral countryside provide for a desireable community setting. 500-acre Tymor Park is located in the Clove Valley, in the south central part of Union Vale, and extending into the Town of Beekman. It includes Furnace Pond and over one mile of the length of Fishkill Creek, a natural trout stream of considerable fame. The Union Vale Historical Society recognizes the need to preserve the town’s history and is dedicated to preserving Union Vale’s heritage.
