Located on the hills
of the east bank of the
Hudson River, Tarrytown is
the eastern terminus of
the Tappan Zee Bridge
connecting the New York
State Thruway between
Tarrytown and Nyack.

North's Hudson Division, the 25 miles to Grand

Educational Facilities
Tarrytown has a consolidated school system with
Sleepy Hollow. It includes a pre-K, K, Pre-1, and
1,2-3, 4-6, grades 7-8 at Sleepy Hollow Middle School
and 9-12 at Sleepy
Hollow High School.

Tarrytown has an active recreational department
servicing both the young and old. Activities include
AYSO soccer, TNT baseball leagues, men's softball
leagues, Halloween parties, an Easter Egg Hunt and

include Patriot Park on Broadway near the Warner
Library, Pierson Park on the Waterfront with tennis
courts, basketball courts and picnic areas, and Losee Park with lighted softball and baseball fields

Presbyterian, one Reformed Church, one Methodist,
three Catholic, one Christian Science and one
